What is the LSE Careers Skills Accelerator?

LSE Careers in conjunction with Practera are offering the opportunity to complete a virtual employability programme, designed to build your professional skills and prepare you for the workplace through skills-based activities.

Through a series of five engaging and practical virtual skills modules, based on real-world simulations and industry scenarios, you’ll build your skills in Practical Problem Solving, Collaboration, Cultural Intelligence, Innovation and Data for Social Scientists. We know how important these skills are to employers.

Specially designed for LSE students, each module takes approximately three-four hours, which you can work through in your own time.

Do you want to gain real industry experience? Do you want to apply your professional skills to a real consultancy project?

The first 100 students to register on the Practera LSE Skills Accelerator and submit a Nano project application form will also have the opportunity to complete a two-week team-based virtual project with a real employer in March 2023. Students who don’t secure a place on the March Nano projects can express an interest in our summer Nano projects.
